RESEARCH INTERESTS

My area of research involves the development of new methodologies in the field of gold catalysis. I am interested in the design and synthesis of new hemilabile (P, N)-bidentate ligands for achieving the redox neutral Au(I)/Au(III) catalysis. This ligand-enabled redox gold catalysis provides new opportunities for the development of cross-coupling reactions and 1,2-difunctionalisation reactions of C-C multiple bonds.
